Kudos to Fair Farms Maryland for this great video that features some of my favorite Maryland farmers, Jack and Beckie Gurley of Calvert’s Gift Farm. Not only are they mentors to many of the farmers populating farmers markets today, but they started Chesapeake Farm to Table, a smart, efficient and transparent way to connect Baltimore-area farmers like themselves with Baltimore chefs to put more local produce, dairy, meats and seafood on restaurant tables.
