Buy Fresh, Buy Local Chesapeake
The only chapter in Maryland began in 2006 with a volunteer group of farmers, restaurateurs and local food advocates. The Chesapeake Chapter is now administered by The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF).
The Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) launched Virginia’s first Buy Fresh Buy Local campaign in 2006 and today manages nine Buy Fresh Buy Local chapters throughout the state of Virginia.
